Il Manchester United Women è stato abbinato dal Manchester City al Leigh Sports Village nel sorteggio del quarto round della FA Cup femminile. Il confronto, previsto per domenica 26 gennaio, sarà il terzo derby di Manchester della stagione. Le campionesse in carica del City hanno vinto la partita della Super League femminile 1-0 all'Etihad Stadium a settembre, ma lo United è arrivato in testa alla Continental Cup il mese successivo, vincendo 2-0 grazie ai gol di Katie Zelem e Jess Sigsworth.
